I have been using ownCloud for over a year and it has been the most convenient and effective opensource cloud storage software I have ever used. Multiple upgrades have worked smoothly without error. I even use the Android app.

If you are looking for a personal alternative to Dropbox, Google Drive or others... this is perfect. A great support community. Istantly multilanguage. Easy installation. Amazing user experince. Perfect! Amazing!

Now, with Owncloud 7, it's becoming a must have tool! A fantastic backup tool, where you can work, save your files, edit documents, save your pictures, and even share them safely and easily! You can even share pictures as files or as pictures, to show them in a nice and automatic gallery. I'm quite surprised and satisfied with it these days!

Was looking for something basic that I could host my files on and access them wherever. So far so good. I was not looking to use the Music and Pictures or Calendar functions but they have shown themselves useful. I like that the software can be used with SSL to secure the connection and encrypt the uploads. Again the software is basic, if your looking for something you can edit the looks, look for something else. This is just what it states it is. A high power ftp with a simple to use interface.

This is an excellent script and makes all those cloud storage sites obsolete. For file sharing without the cost of justcloud and dropbox this is the script to install. Many addons and I guess even better to come. Branding will cost you an arm and a leg but when it sells it earns to that's business.
